The day ahead!

Today I am working on another project of mine- a dress up game! I am hoping to learn how to fully program a video game by this time next year, so to get started i want to make a dress up game! i have already learned the code to drag,click, and place for a normal dress up game, but i want to learn how to have just a static picture that you just click arrows on that change the top or bottom it is wearing! No dragging, no clicking! I am pretty excited for this I know i’m a nerd lol.  I would love to make a flash movie one day too! haha well off to work!

My latest project

With Ax rapidly approaching I have to decide and start working on which costumes I want to wear for the 4 day con (5 days if you count pre-reg!)!

I have not made a costume for a anime/videogame convention in almost 2 years! Can you belive its been that long? Well this year I am coming back with a vengance! My first costume of choice is none other than Felicia from DarkStalkers!

I am determined to make this costume as accurate and modest as possible! So for a little help I have been studying heidi and yayahans versions of felicia! They are the best!

So far I have Found items to make this costume a reality, its just purchasing them thats going to take a while! I have found the perfect wig (from a drag queen wig store no less!) and clear heals to built the cat feet upon to make it apear i am standing on the balls of my feel (just like a real cat!).

As far as fur goes i cant see myself using very furry fabric, i think i will stick to white stretch micro fleece. After all she doesnt look so fuzzy in the picture does she?

Ps I need help figuring out how to make the tail stay out with wire without dragging down my bottoms with it, any ideas?

Moving on to greener pastures…

I’m not dead yet!

I have since moved on to greener pastures from my last update and now live in BEAUTIFUL Burbank,CA, with my darling Arin and roommates Jaxxy and Tomar!

Since moving I have become a full time model with an agency and everything! Its wonderful! I am now working under otto models in newport beach! They are super kind to me and are already sending me on so many different casting calls! This morning I went on one for a hair cut that pays $2000! Unfortunatly I wont be getting that job because my current hair cut is a bit too short in the layers for what they need.

It was soo hard getting an agency to back me, I went on about 10 different agency go sees to be turned down or worse, told “we’ll keep in touch”.

But I have also found work without an agencies help! I worked with Hottopic for their web catalog, and you can still see me at www.hottopic.com. It was a blast working with the hottopic HR people and seeing their behing the scenes! I hope we shoot again some time! The pay wasnt too bad but lets just say its not my normal rates! I also got to shoot with a cool guy named Pasha! He is a cg artist for movies such as Avatar, Pirates otc, and Ice Age! He on the other hand paid VERY well and even rented out a studio to shoot in for the day. I suppose being rich does have its perks…:)!

Yesterday I did a job at a hair salon in Pasadena CA where they PAID ME to cut and dye my hair! Its a girls dream right?  They cut a little more from my length than i would have liked but it will grow back!

I did my very first runway show last week! I was a giraffe in MarMARs exotic animal lingerie runway show! It was a blast, I was body painted from head to toe and got some crazy lingerie! You can view pictures from the event here – http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=206422&id=745215357

Tomorrow is another day, which means another casting call. I will be auditioning for a shoot in the am with erza dresses and a shoot in the pm with a makeup company. Saturday I Have a shoot with smashbox cosmetics and Sunday I have another runway show with a hair dresser and fashion designer team that is 1940′s themed! Gotta make that money!

What i really need is a new pair of high heals ): My pair broke at the marmar runway show while i was doing the show ):. I just wish i could find a pair i like. and that was in my budget. yea scratch that, only the second part matters, i can always find shoes i like lol.

I have a new addiction now that I am living on the west coast! Cactus cooler! Its a pineapple orange soda made by the Dr.Pepper company and its only sold in CAli! Its so delicious! I drink about 3 cans a day :3C.

I will be updating daily for now on, its a promise and i will try to get a few video blogs up soon! Take Care all!
